An OWL-based optimization modeling system using SWCL for distributed and ad-hoc business problems

  • Summary : Implemented an ontology-based optimization modeling system using SWCL (Semantic Web Constraint Language), which can help users manipulate problem models in SWCL in a straightforward manner, and make the optimization model intuitive as well. This work provides a superior solution for decision-making by extracting users' constraints and objectives in a Semantic Web environment.

Episode - 1st Edition

  • Summary : Episode was the first iPad application in Korea and was ranked top in the Korea iOS App Store. Compare to the formal magazine applications publishing magazines in a PDF format, Episode completely takes the advantage of iPad which is one of the most powerful device being able to provide human-computer interaction environment. The app improves user experience in an interesting and straightforward way. We developed a methodology to build applications for iPad using the PhoneGap framework, which enables developers develop apps using web development technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, etc.

Research on Target acquisition and detection of target information

  • Summary : Designed a combined Neural Network model incorporating FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) for sensing. The Neural Network model is able to detect and discriminate sound signals in a security application. The research focused on analyzing signals from an audio detector and combining decision rules with neural network models to classify the detected sound from a human, a vehicle etc.
